Rehab Nazzal

Rehab Nazzal is a Palestinian-born artist based in Toronto. Her work deals with the effects of settler colonial violence on peoples, land, and other non-human life in colonized territories. Nazzal’s works have been exhibited across Canada, Palestine, and internationally. She holds a PhD in Art and Visual Culture from Western University, an MFA from Ryerson University, and a BFA from the University of Ottawa. She is the recipient of the Social Justice Award from Ryerson University and the Edmund and Isobel Ryan Visual Arts Award from the University of Ottawa, and grants from SSHRC, Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Ottawa.
