as an artist's project by Vancouver artist Ron Terada for Kitty
Scott's "Universal Pictures" productions, this exhibition

This
poster-brochure (with an introduction and discussion of works)
was produced for the exhibition "logo-city"(2000)
held at the Blackwood Gallery and in various outdoor sites on
the campus of the University of Toronto at Mississauga. Presenting
artists whose work engaged with various aspects of sign-culture
- including Ron Benner, Peter Bowyer, Corinne Carlson, Robin

Golden
Streams: Artists' Collaboration and Exchange in the 1970s
Curator-in-Residence,
Luis Jacob has produced a 36-page publication that documents
and contextualizes the works in this exhibition. Luis Jacob's
essay is interspersed with many quotes by the artists and their
critics. The publication also includes a detailed exhibition
list, a historical timeline, and 15 b/w illustrations.

Idea Editions 1967 - 1995
This
320-page Catalogue Raisonné documents in detail the editioned
work of the late, internationally renowned artists' collective
General Idea. The book includes an interview and essays by Jean
Christophe Ammann, Lionel Bovier, AA Bronson, Cathy Busby, Christophe
Cherix, Joshua Decter, Diedrich Diedrichsen, Mike Kelley, John
Miller, Philip Monk, and Stephan Trescher, and an introduction
by Barbara Fischer. Over 200 colour and b&w reproductions,
the book also includes an up-to-date CV, bibliography, list
of ephemera and videos, and an index for the works. Published
by the Blackwood Gallery in collaboration with the Agnes Etherington
Art Centre (Kingston), Mount St. Vincent University Art Gallery
(Halifax), Art Gallery of Hamilton, London Museums, Plug In
ICA (Winnipeg), Dunlop Art Gallery (Regina), Illingworth Kerr
Gallery (Calgary), Charles H. Scott Gallery (Vancouver), and
the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The exhibition and book
was made possible with the financial assistance of The Canada
Council, the Ontario Arts Council, the Andy Warhol Foundation
for the Visual Arts.

Edge Soft Corners
This
48-page catalogue documents an exhibition held at the Blackwood
Gallery (UTM) of extended painting by Polly Apfelbaum (New York),
Francois-Marie Bertrand (Chicoutimi), Eric Cameron (Calgary),
John Heward (Montreal), Andy Patton (Toronto), Mary Scott (Calgary),
Jessica Stockholder (New York), and Robert Youds (Victoria).
Painting surfaces in frayed folds, tight knots, wound up bundles
or blown-up piles, as well as in coloured reflection, spilled
light, and fluid layerings. The catalogue includes an essay
by curator Barbara Fischer, and colour and b&w reproductions
of all the works included in the exhibition. It was published
in 2001 with the generous financial assistance of The Canada
